Terms
Terms for DeskDude Services.
These terms cover the public DeskDude Services website, free resources, and early conversations about scoped work. A written project scope, proposal, DPA, or client agreement can add more specific terms.
Website use
The website is provided as a public workspace for DeskDude Services, projects, free resources, service descriptions, and contact information. You may read, link to, and share public pages as long as you do not misrepresent the content or use the site in a harmful way.
Free ebooks and notes
Free ebooks, blog posts, and practical notes are provided for learning and orientation. They are working material, not legal, financial, safety, compliance, medical, or professional engineering advice. They may be updated, removed, replaced, or later turned into more formal products.
Service inquiries
Sending an email or rough brief does not create a client relationship by itself. Work starts only when scope, responsibility, timeline, price, access, and delivery expectations are agreed in writing.
Client work
DeskDude Services may help with websites, automation systems, AI workflows, company training, industrial automation support, technical cleanup, or product experiments. The exact output depends on the agreed scope. If personal data, production systems, regulated work, or safety-critical environments are involved, responsibilities and approval lines must be made explicit before work starts.
AI and automation limits
AI tools and automation workflows can speed up work, but they can also produce errors, false confidence, incomplete outputs, or brittle processes. Outputs should be reviewed by a responsible person before being used for important decisions, production workflows, compliance, safety, hiring, finance, or customer-facing commitments.
Industrial automation boundary
Industrial automation support must be scoped carefully. PLC logic, HMI changes, robotics, process control, commissioning, and safety-related work may require site owners, certified personnel, risk assessments, standards, approvals, and testing. DeskDude does not make loose safety or compliance guarantees from a website description.
Intellectual property
Public website text, visuals, ebooks, and DeskDude branding belong to DeskDude/Malte Steenberg unless otherwise stated. Client deliverables should be handled in the written scope. In general, clients should receive the practical rights needed to use the agreed deliverables, while reusable methods, templates, knowledge, and general tooling can remain part of DeskDude's working system unless agreed otherwise.
Third-party tools
Some work may involve third-party services such as hosting platforms, databases, AI APIs, automation tools, email providers, analytics tools, or app platforms. Their own terms, pricing, uptime, data handling, and limitations may apply.
No guaranteed outcome from public content
The website describes capabilities, direction, and examples. It does not guarantee that a specific result, timeline, revenue outcome, ranking, compliance status, uptime, or technical performance will be achieved without a defined scope and review.
