Terms of Service
These terms are a practical launch draft for restaurants using Mise. A written customer agreement can override these terms where agreed.
Service
Mise helps restaurants turn menus, routines, service notes, and quizzes into phone-friendly staff training. Staff can ask questions, practise, and complete short quizzes.
Customer responsibilities
- The customer must ensure uploaded material is correct, current, and lawful to use.
- The customer must inform staff about the use of Mise and training data.
- The customer controls access for administrators and staff.
- The customer must review critical allergen, ingredient, and safety information.
- The customer must not use Mise for automated employment or disciplinary decisions.
Mise is training support. It does not replace the restaurant's own controls, manager judgment, or kitchen procedures.
Pilot and subscription
The free pilot normally lasts 30 days unless otherwise agreed. Paid subscription, price, support, and billing period are agreed in writing. Prices are exclusive of VAT unless clearly agreed otherwise.
AI limitations
AI can provide incorrect, incomplete, or unclear answers, especially if source material is incorrect or missing details. Mise must not be used as the only source for allergens, food safety, medical questions, legal assessments, or compliance.
Data and confidentiality
The customer owns its restaurant material. Mise processes data to provide the service, support, security, and operations. Personal data should be covered by a data processing agreement where required.
Termination
Monthly agreements can be cancelled before the next billing period unless otherwise agreed. Data is deleted or anonymized according to agreed retention and necessary legal obligations.
