DPA Overview
When a restaurant uses Mise for staff training, the restaurant is normally the controller for staff training data, and Mise acts as processor for data processed on behalf of the restaurant.
Processing purpose
Mise processes data to deliver internal staff training, support, security, and operation of the service.
Data categories
- Administrator and staff account information.
- Restaurant documents, menus, allergen lists, and routines.
- Training activity, quiz status, and usage needed for manager overview.
- Support messages and security logs.
Special categories
Mise is not intended for sensitive personal data. Restaurants should not upload private staff notes, health information, or other sensitive information unless separately assessed and agreed.
Security
Security measures include hosted infrastructure, access control, encrypted transport, operational logging, and limited support access. Measures will develop with the product.
